Experienced Fabricator / Welder - Monday to Friday
Looking for a permanent welding and fabrication role with good hours, varied work and an early finish every Friday? Oakleaf Forestry is continuing to grow its engineering division and we’re looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our production team in Portadown. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys seeing a project come together properly. You’ll work in a clean, well-equipped workshop as part of an experienced team, fabricating bespoke steel components and contributing to machinery and engineering builds used across the forestry and transport sectors. What you’ll do
- Fabricating and welding steel components to a high standard
- Maintaining high standards of quality, organisation and workshop safety
- MIG welding and general fabrication
- Work with engineering to keep jobs moving.
- Reading and working accurately from technical drawings
- Building bespoke components and assemblies
- Contributing to machinery and engineering projects from fabrication through to completion
What we’re looking for
We’re particularly interested in hearing from someone who:- Has previous welding and fabrication
- experience Is confident with MIG welding
- Can read and work from technical drawings
- Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is dependable, practical and takes a good approach to getting the job done.
