Practical Engineer (CAD) Production Support

Small team. Straight decisions. Practical engineering support work. This role focuses on preparing drawings, supporting production, and helping keep projects moving from design through to build.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and update CAD drawings to support workshop builds.
• Issue supplier packs and technical information for manufacturing.
• Respond to drawing and production queries from the workshop.
• Work closely with fabrication and engineering teams to keep projects progressing smoothly.
• Support the transition of designs from drawing through to build.

What we’re looking for

• Practical engineering experience with CAD in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to produce clear drawings that translate well into real builds.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working closely with workshop teams and suppliers.
• Reliable, organised, and able to keep work moving.
